My Introduction into the World of Blogging

My name is Patti Campbell. I am a happily married mother of three teenagers (two boys and a girl).  I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and for the past 17 years I have been running my own family child care business. My job is as rewarding as it is challenging.


I am a self taught artist. At the heART of it all, art is what makes my heart sing! I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. I spend a lot of my time drawing and painting. I am a huge rubber stamp enthusiast. I love mixed media and collage. One of the best feelings in the world is when you are done and you step back, look at your creation, and with a big proud smile on your face, say "I made that!"


Social media has become a great way to connect like-minded people. I belong to several artist groups on Facebook and have connected with so many wonderfully talented people who I happily call my friends. One of these friends has inspired me to take another step on my journey and publish a blog. I love art! I love to make it, learn about it, look at it, and read about it. So why not write about it? It seems like a logical next step.


So here I am setting out on another adventure; I am an art blogger. I want to share my stories, tips, tricks, online classes and groups, products I love, and any other art related things I think you might find interesting.


This is my very 1st post, my test drive. I hope you'll come along for the ride.
